BigHit Music announced on the 2nd that the group BTS has been officially designated as honorary foreign guests of Bogota, Colombia. Bogota city officials cited the group's elevation of the global status of Korean music and culture since their debut in 2013 as the background for this selection. This visit is expected to contribute to promoting Bogota as a hub for cultural and creative industries. The tourism observatory under the Bogota Tourism Board projected that spending by concertgoers on food, lodging, local transportation, and shopping for the two concerts held at Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campin on the 2nd and 3rd will reach approximately 40.6 billion won. This concert in Colombia marks the starting point of BTS's South American tour and is their very first full-group performance in the country.
