PLEDIS Entertainment released its third-quarter 2026 update on legal proceedings over false information, insults, and sexual defamation directed at SEVENTEEN. It said one defendant in an existing malicious-defamation case received a KRW 2 million fine at first instance and is now in the appeal process, while the company will pursue other investigations without leniency. PLEDIS also said some professional ticket scalpers received prison terms of one year and eight months and one year and four months, with total forfeitures exceeding KRW 1 billion.
