The medical noir drama Doctor X has released stills previewing an unexpected first meeting between genius surgeon Gye Soo Jung, played by Kim Ji-won, and an intern at a billiards hall. The newly revealed images capture a tense confrontation where Kim Ji-won points a pool cue at the intern while he tends to a collapsed patient. Based on a hit Japanese series of the same name, the drama depicts a skilled surgeon operating on a corruption-ridden medical establishment. Doctor X is scheduled to premiere on October 9 at 9:50 p.m. KST, raising questions about how their dramatic encounter will impact their hospital lives moving forward.
