Pop star Olivia Rodrigo posted a statement on social media supporting Jane Doe, the female victim of the Cornell Seven group sexual assault case that occurred at a Cornell University fraternity house in October 2024. Rodrigo strongly criticized universities and institutions for protecting perpetrators and expressed solidarity with the victim. The incident has recently been re-examined through a civil lawsuit and the appointment of a special prosecutor by the New York governor.
