Kim Ji-won will portray the brilliant surgeon '계수정' in SBS's new medical noir drama '닥터X: 하얀 마피아의 시대.' A production briefing was held on October 7 at the SBS headquarters in Seoul, attended by director Lee Jeong-rim and co-stars Lee Jeong-eun, Son Hyun-joo, and Kim Woo-seok. The series, described as a 'surgical-room mad genius' story, is scheduled to premiere on October 9 at 21:50 KST. Ji-won said the role required a drastic visual change and close consultation with medical experts, marking her return to prime-time drama after two years.
